Warning signs of anxiety disorders

Throughout our lives, people become aware of those situations that generate states of anguish, stress, anxiety, or sadness. These emotions are normal experiences in people’s lives, and we should not interpret them as a problem or a pathology. In fact, in certain critical situations such as when we have to live in situations of threat or loss, the normal reaction is to respond with anxiety or sadness.

ANXIETY SYMPTOMS THAT CAN HELP US TO IDENTIFY WHAT HAPPENS TO US

  • Feeling of mental fatigue.
  • A feeling of not being able to respond adequately to external requirements, such as work or family obligations, as if everything that must be done is more difficult every day.
  • Loss of interest in the things that used to motivate us.
  • Feeling of being often in a bad mood.
  • Intolerance, or desire to protest about anything.
  • Conciliation insomnia.Anguish in the face of uncertainty.
  • Repeated thoughts around the issue that worries us without being able to stop thinking and often with the awareness that to continue thinking will not help us to solve anything.

These indicators may or may not be related to an anxiety problem that needs to be addressed, but they are indicators that, in addition to being in a bad way, the person probably has some answer that surpasses it. Possibly, if we find ourselves in this situation, it’s time to stop and do something to help us:

  •          Allow yourself a time of tranquility and daily relaxation.
  •          Dedicate a few days of vacation in case it is possible.
  •          Talk to someone who hears us and can help us.
  •       Get involved in some leisure or social activity.
  •          Do physical exercise. Etc.

It is important to commit yourself to fulfill any of the activities we have set out to carry out to take care of our emotional state.
